Glad to see i'm not really missing anything, sticking to the old Macromedia Flash 8, compared to Adobe Animate now. Except for the keyframe caddy, that one is really handy to have. Other than that, seems like exporting the video in the older versions of Flash, is easier to get right. Just exporting it as an swf and using swivel. Honestly, weird thing how exporting video is still so janky today with Animate, having to change the framerate and still having convert the final video.

you can use swivel for any version of flash, they all export swfs
